Due to the nature of our unit, we do have German re-enactors as well. These members, just like our allied soldiers, portray no political party affiliation, such as the Nazi Party. While it is important to not forget what happened, we feel the need to portray an every day soldier. We strive to educate that the regular German soldier was not a Nazi. They were fighting for their country just like the allied.

We will not cover or brush aside what did happen, as it is important to remember, history will repeat itself on the backs of the ignorant.
WE ARE NOT A POLITICAL ORGANIZATION

MISSION STATEMENT
Our main goal is to keep the memory of our veterans alive. They fought for our freedom, and while this was almost 70 years ago, we still need to keep the memory of the sacrifice that they made.
The 1940's was a vastly different period in time. Our living displays help visitors of our encampment see the life of a soldier in World War 2. Not just the fighting, but the life of living in camps, in the trenches, and the difficulties faced. This is a great learning tool for younger people as well. Seeing the pictures in books is great, but being able to put on a set of webbing and equipment, and feeling the weight and how cumbersome it is can really add a new level of appreciation for those who had to do this.
